Bernard Richards Manufacture – B.R.M Chronographes becomes the Official Timekeeper of Grand Pavois Organisation events for a period of 3 years, from 2023 to 2025.
A French watchmaker with exceptional know-how and creator of the « Made in France » concept, B.R.M Chronographes will be a partner of the Grand Pavois La Rochelle international boat show (September 2023), the Défi Atlantique Guadeloupe / Horta / La Rochelle (April 2023) and the Rallye des Iles du Soleil (October/November 2023).
With a unique, creative, modern and innovative vision of watchmaking, B.R.M Chronographes is the result of Bernard Richards’ passion for motor sports. It is a passion that conveys strong values, such as pushing back personal limits, great feats, extreme pleasure, the quest for perfection, and much more. All these values are very close to the world of the sea and the events created and organised by Grand Pavois Organisation. « It is a great honour and pride to have B.R.M Chronographes as the official watchmaker and timekeeping partner for our events. Bernard Richards Manufacture – B.R.M Chronographes results from the strength of commitment and passion for precision mechanics that drives its founder Bernard Richards. Completely independent, this production unit sheltering in a haven of peace in the Vexin region makes automatic watches that are finished entirely by hand and which can be customised according to taste thanks to an online configurator. Using state-of-the-art materials such as titanium, carbon, Fortal HR® and tantalum, Bernard Richards offers his customers, motor sports enthusiasts like himself, exceptional crafted products. For this intrepid entrepreneur, luxury is above all « about technicality and perfection at every stage in the process« .
A limited edition B.R.M Chronographes Grand Pavois La Rochelle watch and a Brake bracelet available in two colours.
30 limited edition B.R.M Chronographes Grand Pavois watches will be produced and will come in a luxury case with a watch identification plate. The 44 mm diameter watch case is carved from a block, its sunny blue coloured dial will have a discreet Grand Pavois signature with the three hallmark flags of the international in-water boat show. This unique watch will be available on the website (www.brm-chronographes.com) and by phone at +33 (0)1 61 02 00 25.
A Grand Pavois Brake bracelet, a titanium brake disc machined in the mass with a black PVD coating, will also be offered by B.R.M Chronographes with the choice between two polyester cords, one in blue and white or one in red and white.

REPORT DU SPECTACLE VOILES DE NUIT 2023, RENDEZ-VOUS EN 2024
Le spectacle pyrotechnique et digital Voiles de Nuit organisé par Grand Pavois Organisation dans le cadre du Grand Pavois La Rochelle, initialement programmé le samedi 23 septembre dans l’avant-port de La Rochelle, n’aura finalement pas lieu cette année. Le Conseil d’Administration, qui s’est tenu mardi 29 août et présidé par Alain Pochon, a décidé à la majorité de reporter le spectacle en 2024 pour des problématiques de délai d’organisation.

A look back at the history: on 6 April 1973, the Grand Pavois de La Rochelle association appeared in the columns of the Journal Officiel No.82 of the French Republic. It was now official, the association was recognised by the State.

After being cancelled in 2020 due to the global pandemic and the introduction of the health pass in 2021, the Grand Pavois La Rochelle believed it would potentially see a 20 to 30% drop in visitor numbers for this edition organised in the unusual context of a health crisis. However, this year’s event contradicts and counters all forecasts since 80,000 visitors (editor’s note, 79,916 visitors) were present on the pontoons and alleys of the international in-water boat show, namely a 5% increase in relation to the previous edition in 2019.
