The Grand Pavois Beach is back for a second edition on Minimes Beach. This unique venue dedicated to water sports, board sports, and dinghy sailing promises an unforgettable experience for visitors to the Grand Pavois La Rochelle 2025.

A unique concept and brand new activities

For four days, from Thursday to Sunday, Grand Pavois Beach will offer different activities each day. This space is a real meeting point for:

• Visitors who are passionate about water sports
• Sailing associations and clubs
• Brands specializing in board sports and dinghy sailing

For 2025, Grand Pavois Beach is focusing on introductory sessions, including diving and freediving, offering a unique immersion experience for all audiences. Ocean protection remains at the heart of the event thanks to the presence of WWF and Lemonsea.

Le Grand Pavois La Rochelle: a unique trade show

Le Grand Pavois La Rochelle is not just a boat show: it is a business event showcasing the latest innovations and trends for the future of boating.
The Grand Pavois Beach area will undergo a major transformation in 2025, giving visitors direct access to the sea, with their feet in the sand.
With more than 70,000 visitors expected, it is one of the only shows in the world offering such proximity to the ocean.

New water activities and experiences

Grand Pavois Beach offers a range of new activities:

• Introduction to paddleboarding and wingfoiling
• Diving and freediving
• Funboarding, kitesurfing, and dinghy sailing

The aim is to make water sports accessible to as many people as possible, to encourage the discovery of new passions, and to increase the range of experiences on and under the water, in a fun and friendly atmosphere on the beach.

Four days of themed activities

Thursday: Opening and club welcome

Activities begin on the beach in the morning. In the afternoon, the large “Le Spot” tent is hosted by the French Sailing Federation (FFV) and CDV17, reserved for clubs. All FFVoile license holders can enjoy free admission (more info: admission prices)

Friday: Our oceans

• Screening of the film “Rorqual,” recounting the journey of the whales
• Conference on the transatlantic race organized by the Rallye des Iles du Soleil
• Round table on plastic pollution and ocean protection

Saturday: Record Day

• Screening of the film “Inspi’ré,” swimming around the Île de Ré.
• Screening of the film “Misol-Ha,” with discussions with extreme divers.
• Film “Anita Conti, l’appel du large,” retracing the life of the first French female oceanographer.

Sunday: Grand Voyage

• Screening of the film “Le Grand Océan,” the story of the sailboat Export 33
• Film “Ecureuil Aquitaine II,” about the rescue of an iconic racing boat
• Round table discussion on long-distance voyages with sailors.
