Grand Pavois La Rochelle 2025: 5 Highlights Not to Miss, 3 Months Before the Event!

1. A key economic event for the boating industry

Since 1973, Grand Pavois La Rochelle has been the leading international in-water boat show, attracting both professionals and enthusiasts.
With 700 boats on display and 800 brands represented, it remains a real barometer of the blue economy.
In 2025, it will once again help assess the outlook for the French and European boating sector.

Key fact: Grand Pavois La Rochelle is one of the most representative events for boat registrations in France and Europe. A major economic indicator for the industry.

2. Fort Boyard in the spotlight: a landmark to be preserved

An icon of the Charente-Maritime coast and a global TV star, Fort Boyard will be the guest of honour at Grand Pavois 2025.
This historic monument is the focus of a fundraising campaign led by the Charente-Maritime Department and the Heritage Foundation to support its restoration.

Solidarity commitment: €1 per ticket sold will be donated to the Heritage Foundation to help restore Fort Boyard.

3. Eco-navigation & sustainable innovations: an ever-expanding space!

Grand Pavois La Rochelle will once again highlight the Eco-navigation & Sustainable Innovations theme in partnership with EDF, hosting over 50 companies and startups dedicated to this sector.
Launched in 2019, this partnership aims to present existing and future solutions to decarbonize the maritime sector.

The space, split into land and afloat areas, will showcase:

  • Electrically or hybrid-powered boats
  • Charging stations for marinas
  • Electric propellers and motors
  • Eco-designed and specialized equipment

  • Boat refitting shipyards
  • Conversion of thermal boats to electric or hybrid
  • Boat dismantling solutions
  • Architects, design offices, engaged associations…

A wide range of sustainable solutions to discover over 6 days!

Key moment: The 5th EDF roundtable will be held on the theme: « Electric propulsion and bio-sourced materials ».
With special guest Roland Jourdain, sailor and president of We Explore.
