New themed areas, new services… the Grand Pavois La Rochelle 2024 is evolving to meet the expectations of both visitors and exhibiting professionals. Here’s a sneak preview of what’s new for 2024 at the show that’s a must for all enthusiasts!

The Grand Pavois Beach, THE new feature for 2024!

The new Grand Pavois Beach is a real innovation for the leading show for all enthusiasts! Beach of Minimes will be sporting a new look, in response to demand from water sports professionals and to bring them together in a single, revamped area. New activities, a new partnership with the Comité Départemental de Voile de La Charente-Maritime (CDV 17), baptisms and introductions supervised by qualified instructors on specific equipment at sea and in the dock, skateboarding demonstrations on a floor set up for this purpose, a Pocket-Surf for a safe introduction to surfing, a meeting area and film projections with a giant screen and presenter, live presentations of new products from the brands present, DJ sets at the end of the day… In short, a real evolution-revolution for this space, which will also benefit from specific opening dates.

This new space will be open for 4 days, from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 October, from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm, to meet the needs of water sports professionals.

Highlights include the showing of the film « Mon double Everest » and the presence of Maxime Sorel, skipper of the Imoca 60 V and B – Monbana – Mayenne on behalf of the association Vaincre La Mucoviscidose on Saturday, and the presence of singer-sailor Antoine, who will be presenting the new edition of his book « Guide pratique pour mettre les voiles » on Friday, theme days devoted to Technological Innovation in Sailing and Adventure, with meetings with sailors returning from long voyages, as well as round-table discussions offering practical and technical advice, and a Wingfoil competition on Saturday and Sunday… In short, it’s a real meeting place for water sports, not forgetting other outdoor activities such as mountain biking and skateboarding!

A new Charter & Cruising area in 2024

Located on pontoon 7, this new area reserved for rental and cruise professionals will be – a first! – afloat. Grand Pavois Organisation will double the width of this pontoon dedicated to this activity, allowing the installation of exhibition tents just a stone’s throw from the units presented on the water. This is an advantage for many charter companies, as they often rely on the presence of the boat they are chartering, and therefore on the boat’s visit, to optimise their bookings and present their offers more effectively. An initiative launched this year that seems to have met the expectations of many professionals, since to date the Grand Pavois La Rochelle 2024 can confirm the presence of Dream Yacht Charter, Kiriacoulis, Star Voyages, Corail Caraïbes, Punch Croisières and SamBoat… with other charter companies awaiting confirmation.
