ALAIN POCHON REAPPOINTED CHAIRMAN, ANAÏS LHEUREUX NEW GENERAL COMMISSIONER.

Created in 1973, the association governed by yachting professionals held its 51st general meeting on Wednesday 16 January. Following the votes cast by the members of the Grand Pavois Organisation association, made up of professionals from the nautical industry – a unique example in Europe! – Yannick Hemet for SPBI Bénéteau, Boris Compagnon for Catana Group, Erwan de Vuillefroy for Fountaine-Pajot and Jean-Philippe Brun for Jeanneau were re-elected to the Grand Pavois Organisation Board of Directors for a three-year term. A new member joins the Board of Directors, Maurice Duranthon for Mercury Marine, for a three-year term.
Following the vote, the Board of Directors met to elect the Association’s officers, appointing Alain Pochon as Chairman, Boris Compagnon (Catana Group) as new Vice-Chairman, Yannick Hemet (SPBI Bénéteau) as Treasurer and Jean-Jacques Lemonnier (Amel Yachts) as new Secretary.
Christophe Vieux retires, Anaïs Lheureux is GPO’s new General Steward.
Christophe Vieux, who took up the position of General Commissioner in 1992, will step down at the end of January 2024, but will remain with the association in charge of International Development activities.
Anaïs Lheureux, précédemment en charge des partenariats et des Relations publiques au sein de l’Association, est nommée Commissaire générale de Grand Pavois Organisation et ce, à compter du 1er février 2024. Précédemment Chef de projet Hospitalités & Relations publiques chez A.S.O., Anaïs est entrée au sein de l’Association Grand Pavois Organisation en août 2018.
